Bookstore Promotion:
In order to bring awareness to a significant issue affecting the College, the Bookstore is having a promotion to have you guess the number of rental books we will show as missing at the rental return deadline of Friday May 18, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of the promotion is to bring awareness to an issues that impacts the cost of education here at Three Rivers College. When the College has to buy replacement rental books, for rental books that are not returned timely, it raises the cost of delivering quality education.
Each semester we rent approximate 10,000 books. The rental program saves each student hundreds of dollars each semester over having to buy the book, assuming they return the rental book by the deadline.
As of Monday morning May 14, 2012 we have 8653 rental books that need to be returned by Friday May 18, 2012 by 5:00 p.m.
Hint - We expect to get back a significant majority of the books.
For a chance to win $100.00 Bookstore credit, email us bookstore@trcc.edu the number of rental books the Bookstore will show as outstanding at the deadline. The person closest to the actual number will win a $100.00 Bookstore credit. This credit can be used for anything in the Bookstore, including books, supplies, toward a computer, clothing and gift, etc.

The person closest to the actual number, higher or lower or exact, will win a $100.00 Bookstore credit. In the event of a tie of the closest number, we will randomly draw the winner between the closest. There will be only one winner.
