Who can get a Meal Plan Card?

 A Meal Plan Card would be right for you if you have excess Pell Grant or Student Loan funds.  Family members can also load a Card for their student with cash, check, or debit/credit card.

What can I buy with a Meal Plan Card?

The Meal Plan Card was created to help you succeed academically by providing necessary resources through your excess financial aid.  It can be used to purchase food, fuel, and other cost-of-attending needs at multiple locations in Southeast Missouri. It cannot be used to purchase alcohol, tobacco or pharmacy products, household items, gift cards, or lottery tickets. 

Why do I need a Meal Plan Card?

 With a Meal Plan Card, your excess financial aid becomes accessible to use a month or more before you would normally receive your financial aid refund from the College.  Getting a strong start to your semester is essential to success!

When can I get a Meal Plan Card?

You can purchase a Card starting on the first day of class in most semesters, and the loading period normally runs through the first 3 to 4 weeks of fall and spring semester, and the first 2 weeks of summer semester.  To get started, visit The College Store on campus, inquire via email, or you can order one on our website.

How do I load my Meal Plan Card?

Simply send an email to [email protected]. Be sure to include your name, student ID number, the 17-digit card number located on the back of your card, and the amount you wish to load. We will reply to your email when your card is loaded.

Normally you can load your card starting with the first day of classes, and the loading period normally runs through the first 3 to 4 weeks of fall and spring semester, and the first 2 weeks of summer semester. You must have excess Pell or loans to load a card.  $700 maximum load per semester.
